Harry Hungry (“the app”) helps you find good places to eat. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: the app has no accounts, stores nothing about you, and does not track you.

Information we use

• Location. When you tap “Near me,” the app asks iOS for your approximate location and sends the coordinates to our search service (harryhungry.com) solely to rank restaurants near you for that search. Your location is used only to fulfil the request and is not stored, profiled, or linked to your identity.
• Search queries. The words you search are sent to the same service to return results. They are not associated with any personal identifier.

What we do not do

• No user accounts, sign-in, or passwords.
• No advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of personal data.
• No persistent storage of your location or search history on our servers tied to you.

Third parties

To produce results, our backend queries mapping and restaurant-data providers (such as Google Places and Tripadvisor). Only the minimum needed to answer your search — an approximate location and query terms — is used. These providers process that data under their own privacy policies.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
